Support Wendy Ricks!

When Wendy Ricks broke through that infamous glass ceiling four years ago to become the first woman Town Justice in Saugerties' history, she did so with tremendous bi-partisan support. People have enormous respect for Wendy's intellect, experience, judgment and unquestioned integrity.

Wendy's experience includes work in both the District Attorney's office and the County Attorney's office, service as past president of the Ulster County Bar Association, plus twenty years of legal experience in private practice. In addition, Wendy has a background as a trained mediator along with both knowledge and sensitivity of how mental health issues, addiction and family dysfunction can be contributing factors in many of the criminal offenses which come before the Court. Wendy, a life-long resident of Saugerties, lives in the Village with her husband Mark Colligan, a well-known local chiropractor who has owned and operated the Saugerties Chiropractic Center for over twenty years, and their two children Aidan and Meghan.
